Enquiring Minds Want to Know (week 12)

By Barb Drozdowich

Here we are at Thursday yet again!  I thoroughly enjoyed  playing last week, so I’m in again.  Enquiring Minds Want To Know is hosted by Dollycas’s Blog.  Head over there to link up to the list.  We get to answer three questions that will help us get to know each other!

1.  Do/did your kids or grandkids take part in sports organized by school or recreation departments?
I have one spoiled 7 year old.  She is involved in a whole bunch of things depending on the season.  She dances, skates, and swims.  All of these activities are either organized by the local rec center or  private business (dance)

2.  Were you involved in any sports while growing up?
I wasn’t involved in any sports – no coordination!  My husband, however, was a competitive swimmer.

3.  How are you planning to spend Thanksgiving?

Since I’m Canadian, I’ve already celebrated the Canadian Thanksgiving (in October). Our family has many American members, so we have always celebrated American Thanksgiving also.  We also love turkey, so any excuse to eat turkey……Dinner will just be our immediate family this year, though.
Looking forward to everyone else’s answers!

Hi There! Yup….I usually try to have my Christmas shopping done before Black Friday – hate crowded shops! Since we love turkey in our family, it’s handy to have multiple excuses to eat it during the fall! And since I was born on Canadian Thanksgiving, I always get my favorite meal for my birthday 🙂 Thanks for stopping by!

Well, Belated Happy Birthday and Belated Happy Thanksgiving!!!

I am so uncoordinated too, I have always done really good sitting and watching the talents of others as far as sporting events go. I have always had a big mouth perfect for cheering others on. lol

Hi Dollycas! Thanks for the wishes! It was a wonderful turkey/apple pie birthday 🙂 I agree – I’m better on the sidelines also! Thanks for dropping by.
