Waiting on Wednesday

By Barb Drozdowich

Waiting on Wednesday is a weekly meme that is sponsored by Breaking the Spine.  It’s an activity in which we talk about the new releases that we are eagerly anticipating.  Then we get to go around to other blogs and add to our TBR pile or Wish list!

I am wishing for the latest Nicole Jordan – To Desire a Wicked Duke.  It isn’t due out til Feb 2011!!! This is the blurb from Ms. Jordan’s website:

Passion ignites in Nicole Jordan’s delectable, dazzling conclusion to The Courtship Wars.

Two years after losing her beloved fiancé to war, Tess Blanchard feels ready to chance love again. Thus, she’s aghast when a threatening scandal forces her to wed her longtime nemesis, Ian Sutherland, Duke of Rotham. The impossibly arrogant, irresistibly seductive nobleman is the last man she could ever imagine loving! Making matters worse, Tess discovers secrets in Rotham’s wicked past that send her fleeing London for his remote castle in Cornwall.

Having long desired Tess, Ian is exasperated that the ton thinks he’s driven his reluctant new bride from their marriage bed and so follows hard on her heels. Naturally, their spirited rivalry leads to glorious, pleasure-filled nights — complicated by a mysterious ghost who haunts Ian’s castle and Tess’s vexing insistence that he play matchmaker to her friends. But can blazing desire between two warring hearts turn into wedded bliss and timeless love?

The second book I am eagerly anticipating is by Sabrina Jeffries.   How to Woo a Reluctant Lady is due out in early January. She’s not even offering a blurb other than to say that we learn Minerva’s story.  I like this series and am looking forward to the next book.!

Oh I like the sound of this one! I love a romance where the two characters drive one another crazy, I’m a sucker for some quality sexual tension. Great choice, I’ll definitely be checking out the first book in this series!
