Here we sit on Thursday night, getting ready for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. I’m still baking cookies…this is a good thing or a bad thing. The house smells wonderful 🙂 but I’m not started wrapping yet 🙁
I’m taking a few minutes to enter Java’s Friday follow and maybe wander around and say hi to some friends! Send out some Christmas wishes. If you are interested in joining in, drop by Java’s blog at Never Growing Old and enter your blog information on her linky! Have fun and I hope everyone has a great Christmas!
Follow my Book Blog Friday is a weekly meme hosted by Parajunkee. This meme gives us the opportunity to wander from book blog to book blog saying hi to new and old friends. Usually Parajunkee has a thought provoking question for us. This week she asks us to describe what we are doing for the holidays.
My husband’s father is Ukrainian and so we have a traditional meal on Christmas eve. Borscht, perogies, fish and sausage. Then SANTA COMES!! We have a 7 year old who is very clear about what is happening on Christmas eve. Last year she saw Rudolph pulling the sleigh through the air. (likely a plane heading east) At some ungodly hour of the morning we will drag our sorry butts out of bed to see what Santa has brought! My husband’s family will be coming over for a mid-afternoon meal of turkey and fixings. Once all the presents are opened, played with, and all the sugar is consumed we then try to get the short one to go to sleep. Should be a fun day! Hope you and yours have a fun holiday!
Hope you have a Happy Holiday! I love perogies that sounds so good. We have the traditional Ham and all that.

Hi Donna!
Thanks for the visit! Isn’t it interesting how everyone has something just a bit different for their Christmas meal! Hope you have a good holiday!
Hopping through. I’ll be working on Christmas, but I should just be able to be lazy and read b/c hopefully there will be no business.
It must be fun having a kid at home who still believes in Santa. Magical.
