Here we are early Friday morning. Tonight is Christmas Eve. The cookies have been baked and the groceries have been purchased. The gifts have been bought and are ready to be wrapped. Since we have a 7 year old, we are very clear that Santa is coming. She has spent the better part of this week on the Norad Santa site.
Do you remember watching the evening news and have someone announce that an unknown flying object has been identified?? Usually some stern looking person! I absolutely believed that Santa was spotted 🙂 Have a look at the beginning of this clip and see if it brings back memories 🙂
We “like” NoradSanta on Facebook and we’ve been receiving updates since the beginning of December. I think it’s wonderful how they promote this. It certainly puts a “human face” on the military. One of the first Youtube videos that was posted on Facebook was this one:
For those of you that are unfamiliar with NoradSanta – click here. This site is full of videos, games for all ages (my husband has spent all week “lighting the Christmas Tree”) and it’s where we start our geography lessons for the day. Here’s a promo from last year. See how many of these landmarks you can name.
Well, I guess enough said about Norad Santa! Hope you all have a great Christmas and Santa doesn’t leave you coal 😉
