Happy Friday! I’m a bit late joining the Friday follows and hops, but I’ve had a sick child in the house 🙁 I hate it when they are sick! She’s settled on the loveseat and I’m on the couch with my laptop and a few minutes to myself (sort of) so here we go! Oh yes, later this morning I’m going to announce the winner of the early draw for my Valentine’s Day giveaway. If you haven’t entered, use the button on the sidebar to take you to the post!
First up is the Follow My Book Blog Friday hosted by Parajunkee. The blog that is being featured this week is Marie from Mission to Read. Drop by her blog and say hi! Every week she asks us a question. This week the question is: What was your favorite subject in school. Mine was biology!!! I loved biology and went on to work in research and teach at college trying to get everyone to love my favorite subject!
Second up is Book Blogger Hop hosted by Crazy-For-Books. Each week she chooses a new blog to feature. This week we are asked: “What book are you most looking forward to seeing published in 2011? Why are you anticipating that book?”
I was just wandering through a list of upcoming releases for 2011 just the other day. I really don’t think that I can narrow it down to one book. Three of my favorite authors have a book being released in the next few months and I seem to be discovering new authors all the time! This past week I read Sweet as Sin by Inez Kelley. It will be released on the 31st and it is probably the best book I’ve read in years!! I know that several of us have read it and some reviews are posted already. If you get a chance, read a review or just pick up this book!!
Third up today is the over 40 follow hosted by Java at Never Growing Old. She takes pity on us spring chickens by not making us answer questions 🙂 Wander over there and link up.
I’ve you’ve dropped by on the hop leave a comment to say hi! Hope everyone has a great weekend!
Happy Friday!

Hi Jemima!
Thanks for the visit and happy Friday to you as well!
I don’t think I can pick just one book, as you can see on my blog I have so many books I can’t wait to read. My favorite class in school was always English, I loved to read and write and even thought about becoming a teacher a one point in my life.
Stopping by from the over 40 crowd, trying to really make a better effort at visiting more!!

You’re busy this Friday! Hope sickness leaves the house soon. I hate it when they’re sick too.
Hi Kristy,
Thanks for the visit! Happy Friday to you!
That’s so cool that you love biology. My dad is a microbiologist and so I think because I didn’t want to be anything like my parents, I steered clear of biology.
Hi Jenni!
Interesting! my minor was in Micro! I love microbioloby, but genetics is better 🙂 Hope you have a great weekend!

The book I’m most expecting in 2011 is by an author I crossed off my “Favorite author” list.
He’s back on that list now.
Who’s the author? Raymond Feist? What’s the book? A Kindgom Besieged.
Hop on over to my website to read all about it – http://www.howardsherman.net
