With all these giveaways going on, I though I’d share a site that I discovered when cruising from blog to blog entering contests!
Giveaway Scout is a site that can notify you of giveaways and contest available in a selection of categories. For example, I asked to be notified of bookish giveaways, and for the last week, I have been receiving e-mails about all the book type giveaways going on in the blogosphere.
I’m going to sign up my blog to help spread the word about my giveaways in the future. Giveaway scout scans regularly for the word Giveaway and will pick up and advertise any giveaway I have in the future. Sounds like a win-win!

I didn’t believe it at first so I signed up to get the e-mail under a throw-away e-mail (in case I got spammed) but I got one or two emails a day with legit giveaways on the book blogs mostly. Extra advertising when we have giveaways is always welcome!

I found the matter in question and spent a lot of time reading up on it and I was amazed at the sheer ridiculousness of the situation. I don’t know why certain people seem to gloss over the fact that book bloggers might be the biggest book buyers. People who love books that much buy books and do not always depend on the libraries. Also, I found that the manner in which she responded on the reviewer’s site was abominable. She should have realized that there was a chance that her book would not be liked. And I thought the review was really well done. Her comment about the grocery list amused me. 🙂

Thanks for the visit! I’m a book lover first and foremost. I buy a ton of books and I always will. I don’t spend money on clothes, makeup, fancy trips….I spend money on books!
