As some of you may know, I’ve joined the group at The Indie Book Collective as a behind the scenes assistant. Quite a few of you have participated in a Bestseller For A Day event or seen information on the recent Blog Tour de Force.
We are looking for more participants! You might be wondering what you have to do.
The fast answer is basically what you choose to do. During a Bestseller for a Day event we promote one book and try to drive it as far up the Amazon lists as we can in one day. We post reviews, we host guest posts, we post interviews with the author or maybe a character of the story. And we Facebook and Twitter our little fingers off trying to get the word out. I’ve participated in several of these events and it’s tons of fun!
We are looking for bloggers/reviewers to join us. First and foremost we appreciate an HONEST review of the book coming out. If you aren’t interested in the genre of the book being featured, consider hosting another type of promo on your blog. Then agree to promote the book being featured to the best of your ability on the day of the event. (we understand that people may be working on the day of the event)
If you join us, you will get a free e-copy of the book being featured so that you can review it. You will then get the choice of what event you want to host on your blog.
