Determined to find her inner sex diva, Melina Parker asks friend Max Dalton to tutor her. Instead, she ends up in the wrong bed with Max’s twin brother, Rhys, the man she’s always loved. She wants roots & a family; he’s a celeb magician who changes lovers as easily as flights. Can hearth & home find satisfaction with the next big thing? For Melina & Rhys, it’s the perfect formula for love.
This story combines magic, a set of sexy twins, and their childhood friend who wants lessons on finding her inner sex diva! This is a great romance that keeps you turning the pages.
Melina Parker has been told that she’s a dud in bed by several of her boyfriends. This scientist decides she needs to do some research, so she calls on a friend to help her learn what men want in bed. Melina grew up with Max and Rhys Dalton living next door. Although Max and Rhys were twins, Melina could always tell them apart. Max was her buddy, someone she teased and flirted with; someone who was always lighthearted. Rhys was the more somber, thoughtful one of the two, and the one that Melina was in love with. When she decided to ask for help in pleasing a man, she decided to ask Max as she felt she could be more objective with him. He could teach her what she wanted to know, and then the morning after they could go back to being buddies. As the blurb tells us, Max sets up Melina to end up in Rhys’ bed, not his, and the story romps on from there.
This author creates a great story about a set of twins and their childhood friend. I think anyone who has been friends with a set of twins, knows how to tell them apart and knows that there are often significant differences in their personalities despite the fact that they look alike. Melina has always been attracted to Rhys, but because of a misunderstanding when they were younger, they have kept their distance.
This story brings the reader into the world of magicians and the world of performers. There is a lack of stability in that kind of lifestyle. Melina wants stability, but Rhys’ life doesn’t lend itself to that. The process of them coming to a compromise is one of the most interesting aspects of this story.
I enjoyed this story! The storyline was quick moving, filled with steamy chemistry and enough conflict to keep the path of love from being too smooth! I loved the interaction between the two brothers and the different ways they related to Melina. This is a great story from a relatively new author. Pick up this book and keep your eye on this author!
My Friend, Selena of The Enchanted Book also reviewed This Magic Moment. Drop by and enjoy her review also!

Hi Virna!
Thanks for stopping by! I thought this story was great….would appeal to any romance reader!
Never read a story where the hero is a magician. That’s new. The story sounds good though. Great review, Barb! Will have to check this out.
Hi Ing!
Thanks for dropping by! It’s a good little story – worth checking out!
Glad it sounds interesting to you Ing!
This sounds like a fun story! 🙂 Kind of reminds me of the twin sets by Lora Leigh though that one might be considered pretty erotica lol 😛 But it sounds like a great story nonetheless 🙂 My Uncle Steve is also a magician and lives in Cali 😉 He showed us some really amazing tricks when we were all visiting in TN. It was pretty awesome 😀 I tried to get him to give me some of the secrets but he refused LOL!
Chelsea, those magicians are close-lipped, for sure!! 🙂 I love Lora Leigh!
