Today I’m talking about a worthy cause. It seems that author LA Banks is quite sick! The writing community is gathering together to raise some money to cover her medical costs. Because I live in Canada where we have socialized medical care, I simply can’t wrap my head around paying thousands of dollars for medical care. People in the US declare bankruptcy because they get sick. This is just wrong in my world!
Just because financial hardship for medical care is wrong in my world doesn’t mean we shouldn’t support it!

Have a look at what the writing community is offering up to raise money. There are conference tickets, marketing packages, Agent readings & critiques, interviews, and books – lots and lots of books! I’m not really in a position to attend a conference, but the boxes and boxes of books really attracted my attention. Yes, I know, I have a massive TBR pile, but there are so many books that I’d love to have !!! There are ARCs and autographed books.
Who wouldn’t want an autographed set of Robin Kaye’s Domestic Gods series??
