Going Down Hard is a book that I won from the author.  Although I have read many of Ms. Weber’s books, the author chat that I attended where I won this book, was the first time I had the opportunity to listen to her talk about her work and interact with us readers.  She’s a delight to listen to!

Sierra is a fiercely independent woman.  She takes her pleasures where she chooses, and is none too happy to have to accept  help from a man whom she has lost sleep over.  If it wasn’t so essential for her company to succeed, she would be trying to find another way around accepting help from Reece.  Reece has been looking for a way to get close to the one woman he can’t forget, and is happy to guard Sierra’s body!

This is a hot and spicy read.  It has suspense, it has action, and it has the main characters repeatedly dropping their laundry and getting lucky.  This book is another example of Ms. Weber’s outstanding writing and also another example of this series from Harlequin.  These little red books that make up the Blaze series from Harlequin appear in my mailbox once a month and fit nicely in my purse.  They are great little reads that are over and done with in a couple of hours.  Perfect for waiting for kid activities to be done, or a ride on the subway to work.
