book review of Bride for two babes by edith duboisNew York businesswoman Emilie Benson feels like she’s been banished into exile upon arriving in Male Order, Texas to sell her father’s baseball team, the Dallas Outlaws. The last thing on her mind is falling in love, but when she meets the sexy twins interested in buying her father’s team, she realizes she may be getting more than she bargained for.
Grayson and Gavin Stephens have grown up loving baseball, so deciding to become the owners of a Major League Baseball team feels like the perfect plan. Especially when the mysteriously seductive Emilie Benson comes waltzing into their life! When Emilie becomes their lover, it doesn’t take long for the twins to realize she is the woman of their dreams.
As sole heir to her father’s company, however, there’s another man who desires Emilie. And he will stop at nothing to keep the twins away from her.
Emilie Benson is the pampered daughter of the super rich Ralph Benson.  She’s not pleased to be sent on this particular errand – talk to a couple of guys who want to buy her father’s baseball team.  She doesn’t anticipate that the buyers will be a set of brothers who are young and attractive. Determined to hold her own in this arena of men, she takes on Gavin who seems like the most fun loving of the brothers to see how far she can push him.  She challenges him to bring her back a Babe Ruth signed baseball during a baseball game and the games are on!
This is a hot little short story!  Gavin and his brother Grayson Stephens are attractive, seductive and certain of their sexual power!  They play off of one another – they compliment each other.  Gavin seems to be more of a risk taker than Grayson, but they are both aggressive in going after what they want.  Emilie is a ball buster!  She’s attractive, she’s forthright and she’s confident in her sexuality.  She uses men for her needs, but never allows them to use her.  She has met her match with Gavin and Grayson.  The conflict provided by Julian Steele was well written and a great addition to this story.
This menage story is explicit and not for the faint of heart.  These three people know what they want sexually and get it.  The added bits of information about the town of Male Order allow readers who read this series of books to add more and more information about this town and it’s occupants.
A thoroughly enjoyable read!  A good suggestion for fans of menage.

sugarbeats books romance books romance novel reviews steamy saturdayForced to give up one quirky trait after another, Male Order native Sherri Winston feels lost in a sea of ordinary. It’s not until one spectacular night spent with the enigmatic Ethan Blacker that she begins to feel herself again. But he’s an agent working abroad for the UN, and the next morning Sherri must watch him go.
After weeks of pining for what cannot be, Sherri is ready to snap out of it. Little does she expect, however, that hunky film star Benji will roll into town and snatch her heart away. As the two fall in love, Sherri can’t fight the feeling that something is missing.
It‘s not until Benji and Ethan meet in an explosive, revelatory encounter that Sherri realizes only she has the power to bring her men together. As the stakes grow deadly, will love prevail? Or will past wrongs prove too bitter to overcome?

Can one real action hero, one movie action hero and an ordinary girl find love?  This story brings together three people who need each other’s love to be part of cohesive group.  A heart-pounding tear worthy menage!
Sherri Winston is trying to find herself.  Although she grew up in Male Order, she feels out of place, and not ready to find a place for herself in the town.  She has a one night stand with Ethan Blacker, who she finds out is an agent for the UN.  Although the sex spectacular, Ethan gets a call in the morning and has to head out on his next mission.
Sherri thinks she’ll never see him again.

Some time later she has an unfortunate encounter with a snitty Benji – not an encounter that she cares to repeat! Repeat it she does, and this time Benji is much more civilized.  She sees the good side of Benji and starts a relationship with him.  Little does she know that Ethan isn’t out of her life for good and Benji and Ethan are brothers.

I found this menage to be a delightful read.  It wasn’t an easy gathering of three people as is common in menage stories.  Ethan and Benji have deep-seated issues to overcome before they can share a woman.  The action sequences that were included about Ethan’s work added an exciting dimension to the story.

I found the story moved along at a good pace, and showed Sherri to be a capable woman strong enough to handle two men.  A great read overall!
